If certain Soccer Players in a Soccer Team didn't know their position in their team.. Then this would lead to chaos and disorganization on the field.. As these players would be confused and would therefore have no chance of winning the game against their well organised opposing team..
The Church Would Have No Chance of Winning The Game Of Life
Likewise when we don't realise that God has given the Fivefold Ministry Team to the Global and Local Church to Equip the Saints to do the work of the ministry.. Then the result will be a disorganised weak Church with us not knowing our Positions, Places and Job Descriptions on Christ's Team..
The result being that we as a Church would be like a soccer team who are confused... With some confused players thinking their position on the team is to "Defend" when they are really meant to be a "Mid Fielder" or an attacking "Forward" goal scoring "Striker"..
...Furthermore the "Goalkeeper" who is a gifted "Goalkeeper" may incorrectly think he is the lead "Goal Striker".. His mistake being, staying up too late, too many nights, watching too many videos of Striker Cristiano Ronaldo scoring too many goals!?
..And now this natural "Goalkeeper" incorrectly believes he is meant to be another Cristiano Ronaldo? When in reality this confused "Goalkeeper" couldn't kick a soccer ball through the goal posts to save his life. The reality being that he should be playing to his strengths of being a defending "Goal Keeper" instead of his weaknesses of being an attacking Cristiano Ronaldo type "Striker"..
One Primary And Appointed And Annointed Leader
..And then there are other soccer players on that same team thinking they are the Captain of their team.. When there can only be one Captain (aka One Primary Leader) on any given Soccer Team (or in any Local Church Or Nuclear Family of Husband, Wife and Children) appointed by the Coach (aka Coach Jesus) to serve and build up his Team Mates..
..And lastly to continue the analogy of this confused Soccer Team (and Church)... If that wasn't enough crazziness for one day... Within this crazy soccer team, there would tragically be other soccer players (aka church members) sitting on the sidelines bench, when they should be on the soccer field playing and even Captaining their own soccer team (be it leading their own Small Group, House Church or Local Church)..
...Whilst other soccer players playing on the soccer field (and in Church Ministry) would be better off sitting on the sidelines bench, taking a break from public life for a season.. Why? So they could better develop a loving relationship with their Coach (Coach Jesus) and learn to better follow His voice and His Personalised and Private Training For Reigning Program!..
The Holy Spirit As Coach
So as you can see when we the Global and Local Church aren't listening or following the Holy Spirit's leading, whom is our Coach in the Game of Life.. Or we are unaware regarding the pivotal role of The Fivefold Ministry Team in Gods Church today...Then the result will be that we as a people within the local church will not know our gifting, position and place within our local Church...
And I don't know about you... But I for one have previously lived in this lost confused space, contribituing my own fair share to its confusion, and hurting too many people as a result.. And I don't wish to return there anytime soon by the Grace of God!..
You see "The Fivefold Ministry Team" was given to the Global and Local Church to equip the Saints for the work of the Ministry!..
And if "The Fivefold Ministry Team" is not doing its job in the Global and Local Church.. The end result will be that Satans opposing Team will easily defeat the Church playing on Earths field.. But it doesn't need to be this way..
Designed To Win
You see God's Church when working properly was designed to WIN! And to remind us how lets look again at Ephesians 4:11-13 in the scriptures where the Apostle Paul says:
"So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ"
