A Personal Note: Standing Against Spiritual Attacks

Two Real Stories of Battle

A Sister in the Lord recently shared how she and her partner proclaimed our Storm Prayer Declaration over their area. It gave her chills as the power of God’s Word hit home!

She then opened up about a deeply personal battle: daily tormenting voices speaking evil thoughts and projecting unholy images into her mind. It’s overwhelming, and she is crying out for clear waters: peace.

Another New Believer Facing Intense Warfare

At the same time, another new believer is facing a wave of attacks: unexplained rashes and pain (doctors find nothing wrong), a vehicle accident right after serving at a church outreach, and sudden financial blockage with unpaid wages.

Why This Declaration Was Created

These are classic signs of demonic oppression trying to steal peace, health, and momentum. But Jesus has given us authority to resist and overcome!

This powerful declaration against spiritual attacks was created to help both of these Believers and for anyone facing mental torment, physical symptoms of infirmity, accidents, financial blockage, or any form of harassment from the enemy. Speak it out loud boldly and often in Jesus’ name.

🛡️Declaration of Authority Over Tormenting Thoughts & Evil Voices🛡️

Speak this out loud with boldness in Jesus’ name, whenever the attacks come! (This declaration works against mental attacks, physical symptoms of infirmity, sabotage, fear, and any other form of demonic oppression.)

Opening Authority & Protection

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I declare and take authority over every evil spirit attacking my mind, body, health, finances, or circumstances with tormenting voices, evil thoughts, unholy images, infirmity, pain, accidents, or blockage.

🙌 I plead/apply the blood of Jesus over my mind, body, home, family, friends, loved ones, and all that concerns me — just as the Israelites applied the blood to their doorposts for protection. The destroyer cannot cross this bloodline! (Exodus 12; Revelation 12:11)

Binding & Resisting the Enemy

You spirits of torment, confusion, lies, fear, oppression, infirmity, and sabotage I BIND YOU NOW! (Matthew 18:18)

My mind, body, and life belong to Christ you have NO right here!

I submit myself to God and resist you, devil therefore YOU MUST FLEE! “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7 KJV)

I pull down every stronghold and take every thought captive to obey Christ. “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5 NIV)

Declaring Victory & Peace

Jesus disarmed you at the cross! (Colossians 2:15) No weapon formed against my mind, body, health, or circumstances shall prosper! (Isaiah 54:17)

Peace be still! My mind is guarded by God’s peace. (Philippians 4:7) My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. I have the mind of Christ! (1 Corinthians 2:16)

Evil voices BE SILENT IN JESUS’ NAME! Tormenting images and symptoms VANISH NOW! I command you to go to Jesus’ feet and never return!

🙌 Thank You, Lord, for the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit that defeat every attack. (Ephesians 6:17)

✨ My mind is clear, my body is healed and strong, my circumstances are blessed, renewed, peaceful, and filled with Christ’s light. Victory is mine in Jesus’ name! AMEN!

(Repeat the declaration firmly and often as needed. The enemy must flee when we resist him in persistent faith!)

A Brief Word on Full Freedom in Christ

When Attacks Keep Returning

Brothers and Sisters, if you’re faithfully speaking this declaration but the attacks (mental, physical, financial, or circumstantial) keep returning strongly… it may mean deeper deliverance (actually casting out demons) is needed first.

Authority We Have in Christ

Jesus has given us authority to drive out demons: “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons…” (Mark 16:17) “I have given you authority… to overcome all the power of the enemy…” (Luke 10:19)

Open Doors That Allow Oppression

Sometimes oppression lingers because of open doors such as:

  • Unconfessed sin or unforgiveness
  • Generational issues
  • Occult involvement (past or present)
  • Questionable objects in the home
  • Demonic activity in your environment

For example, unforgiveness or occult items can give the enemy legal ground.

Jesus’ Warning About Returning Spirits

“When an impure spirit comes out of a person… it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house swept and put in order. Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself… and the final condition is worse.” (Luke 11:24-26 / Matthew 12:43-45)

The Path to Lasting Freedom

  1. Cast out the spirits (deliverance)
  2. Close every door (repent, renounce, forgive, remove objects, break curses)
  3. Fill your house with the Holy Spirit and God’s Word (use declarations like the one above to stand firm and resist future attacks)
